Since Christmas we came back home to Rexburg and packed up our things and moved across the parking lot to another dorm. This dorm is a little different that we decided it was worth the work to move. The things we like about the dorm is that our storage is right next to us instead of clear across the dorm and I have my own office instead of the office being in the lounge. Eric likes that part because he can go into my office to study and no one can bother him. The apartment is also bigger but more narrow so we have more space in different places. The bathroom is much bigger with more storage and our master bedroom is a tad bit bigger which means we can actually fit our dresser in there. In the other apartment we had to put it in the closet.
While in the midst of moving Eric and I somewhat celebrated our 5th year anniversary. We spent most of the day moving and unpacking and then after we put Aaron to bed we got our neighbor to watch him while we went to dinner to Applebee's. We have discovered that we really don't like having our anniversary around Christmas/New years because we always have something going on. I am sure for next year if things go as planned we will be moving again during our anniversary. Oh well.
Aaron turned 18 months old and is now officially in nursery. Now the trick is to keep him in there when we go to classes. We normally can sneek out at first but 10 minutes later Aaron notices that we are gone and starts crying. It will be a great day when we can just leave him in there for the whole two hours and he would be fine with it. I didn't think he would have such a hard time with it because he seems to do fine with babysitters but he doesn't like it when we leave him alone in nursery.
Here are a few pictures of Aaron so you can see how much he is growing.
This is during check-ins when I was busy working so Eric was in charge of Aaron. He took some gel to his hair and gave him this lovely hair style. I think he looked pretty cute.
Aaron sure is growing up fast. He is learning to do a lot more things for himself. One day I found him sitting in the rocking chair looking at some books he found on top of his dresser.
I love how attatched he is to his blanket. It is cute how he drags it around as much as he can. He likes to drap his blanket over his shoulders and wrap it around himself. He has also learned that if it puts the blanket on his head he can keep his blanket on him and have both hands free.
