Baby Blessing

This has been a fun week for us. Angela started school again, and Aaron received his baby blessing. Eric's mom has been in town since Monday, August 20th. She spent about half of her time here and half of her time with Eric's sister Bonnie. We went out to eat a lot and ate a Bonnie's a few times. This is Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Jarom holding him.Aaron is having a good old time being alive. When he's well fed and rested he smiles a whole lot. He's so much fun to have around. He's getting better at holding his own head up. He's also making a lot more cooing sounds when he's happy. We all gathered together on Sunday, August 26th for Aaron's baby blessing. We had lunch at noon and then took pictures with both sets of Grandparents. It was fun having some of his uncles and aunts for the blessing too. Church was at 2pm. The blessing went really well. We had 3 generations of Bells. Angela's parents left soon after church to get back to Salt Lake. Eric's parents were able to stay until Tuesday morning when they mysteriously disappeared. We woke up and they were just gone. They wanted to let us sleep, and they needed to leave for Salt Lake as well. Monday night Eric's parents bought some awesome Ribeye steaks and barbecued them. It's been a fun week filled with lots of family.

Aaron is 1!! (month that is)

He's actually 5 and 1/2 weeks old now. He's been growing so fast. We took him to the doctor yesterday and he's 10 lbs. 12 oz and almost 23 inches. He's as healthy as a kid can be. He's starting to make happy sounds when he smiles. I wouldn't quite call it laughing yet.

We went to Utah on August 11th to spend a week with Angela's family. We had a lot of fun playing games and talking.

Saturday August 18th Cindy Coleby became Cindy Marquardt in the Salt Lake Temple. The wedding went really well and a lot of people showed up for the luncheon. We got Cindy and her new husband Billy a few board games for their Honeymoon.

Because Cindy had her wedding, we got to see all of Angela's siblings and their kids. We met Alexander for the first time who was born on July 31st. It was fun seeing a baby only 2 weeks younger than Aaron.

We decided to stay a little longer in Salt Lake because we wanted to see them a little more, but we had to come home Monday because Eric's mom was flying into Vegas to visit for a week. She got to see her Grandson Aaron for the first time.

3 Weeks Old

Eric fell asleep for 3 hours on the love sack one afternoon. Angela put Aaron on the love sack with him and he never even noticed. (*She picked him right back up after she took the picture)

Aaron got circumcised and this is a good indication of how much he enjoyed it.

It didn't take long for him to recover. Today he was very happy. He's learning to smile a lot. Here are a few of his cute moments.

Aaron has a new cousin

Alexander James Ethington was born yesterday. This makes Aaron and Alex 16 days apart. I know these two boys are going to be great friends.
Congratulations to my sister Kim and her husband Scott! We are so excited for you. It is fun to have a new born baby in the home.
Here is a family picture of Alexander with his sister, Samantha, and his brothers, Jacob, Matthew, and Joshua. What a cute family!
