Has it really been two weeks?

Sorry I haven't blogged in awhile. Everytime I sit down to start a blog something comes up and I don't finish it. I think I have 2 or 3 unfinished blogs. Honestly there hasn't been much going on here in Rexburg, yet I have managed to stay very busy. The morning after I came home from my Lake Powell trip I had white glove checks. That is when I go to all 30 apartments and look for dust or dirt. If I find any then they girls are in trouble. :) jk I just let them know they have to clean it or I will charge them cleaning fees.
That following Saturday was the hardest day of my job. I had girls moving out and boys moving in. I had to go through all the girls check out papers and then I had to go through all the apartments to make sure they are clean and ready for new tenants. I had four hours to do this. I was stressing out big time because their was a line of boys ready to move in and I hadn't cleaned out all the apartments yet. Now that it has been over a week since that awful day, things are slowing down and I am starting to enjoy my job again.
I have boys living in the dorm until the end of August for a program called Freshman Academy. It is a 6 week block of classes for brand new freshman to "get their feet wet" before fall semester. It is so different having guys here. I don't like it because I didn't have any problem walking in to the girls apartments unannounced but with guys I have to knock and knock and make sure that there isn't anyone in there not dressed. The other day I knocked and the guys told me to come in and there was a guy in there without his shirt on. yikes! I don't think they were expecting me to knock. It is also so much louder with the guys here. They are always out in the courtyard throwing their footballs or frisbees and every time they miss it hits my door or window. I am used to it by now. Their music is constantly blaring and last night I has a guy on his guitar singing into a microphone from his apartment. He was really good though.

This week Eric is gone, he is on a canoeing trip with his dad, brother, and nephew in Minnesota. They are out in the wilderness which means that I can't even call him until Saturday. I know he is having a blast but I miss him so much. After talking to a one year old all day long I miss talking to another adult. Aaron has been a good kid for me though. He definitely makes my days much brighter. He loves to play with his toys and lately he loves to play with balls. He will pick one up and throw it to me and then I will pass it back. He thinks it is so fun. He also loves these little cars I got him for his birthday. He will push them along the carpet as he crawls around. He is trying to talk but for now the only words he knows are mama, daddy, and hi. He is a lot of fun to have around. However, it is amazing how much I look forward to nap time and bed time. Then it is time for me to do what I like to do.
Well I thought I would give you guys an update, sorry I have no pictures. Eric has the camera so I am sure he will post pictures of his fun trip when he gets back.

Wish you could have been here this week while Eric was in Minnesota. We will look forward to hearing all about his adventures when he gets back. Glad things aren't as hectic now, but having you for Lake Powell was worth it.

I thought you were supposed to come back and visit. :( I am so glad we at least had Lake Powell together, it is nice to be home again, but I am missing the family.
